Classic Motor Show 2008, NEC 14th-16th November 2008 We returned once more to Hall No. 1 at the NEC in mid November for the Classic Motor Show. This has to be the most prestigious and well attended show for Classic and Vintage cars in the UK, if not Europe. Although the economy has obviously slowed, the numbers of visitors to the show and especially to our Stand had not diminished during all three days. The show gave us the opportunity to launch our new Aluminium and Stainless XK wire wheel (see photograph in the Gallery). In addition, we were able to pre-announce the new sizes of Blockley tyres, although we were unable to show them all, as they are not due until January 2009. But the interest for these new tyres was significant. Once again John Roberts was on the Stand enthusing about his Jaguar XK Championship success this year and, where he was presented with his trophy by the Chairman of the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club, Mike Young. He also had live “In-Car” race footage on the big plasma screen, which created enthusiastic discussion about wire wheel specifications and usage.

Finally, we would like to thank all our customers and soon to be customers who visited us on the Stand as it is always a pleasure to put faces to names of those of you we have spoken to on the telephone over the years.
