Tube | Tubeless The chrome wheels have been tubeless since October 2006; the silver-painted wheels have been tubeless since July 2007; and the stainless steel wheels have been tubeless since April 2008. If you have the older, tubed wheels or are fitting tube-type tyres you will need 175/185 x 15 tubes and we recommend 15"/16" rim bands. |
|
Notes | Vehicles manufactured from late 1967 onwards were fitted with Flat (Easy Clean) style hubs as standard - always check the style required during the transitional period. Due to the shape of the rear wings you are unable to fit wider wheels. For a short period in about 1968 when the 3.4/3.8 stopped production a S-Type 340 was produced with narrow bumpers and was fitted with the XW472. |
