Replacement centre caps, replacement nuts requiring an external socket wrench and replacement nuts requiring an internal Allen key wrench are available from stock and Jaguar badges are available from stock. Extra Information | |||
Other comments | Most cars are based on the XJ6 (some early cars may have been based on Ford or Rover). Around 250 made between about 1984 and the early 1990s (source: Challenger Owners Club) Advice from the Challenger Owners Club: "With the wider XW474 wheel some members have had problems with a wheel rubbing on one rear side of the car (either RHS or LHS). This has occurred on a few of the later cars to be built and is caused by a mis-alignment of the rear sub-frame during manufacture, i.e. the body has been bonded onto the tubular chassis slightly askew so that either the rear LHS or RHS wheel is too near to the wheel arch. With the standard 5“ wires this problem is not obvious and only comes to light when fitting the wider wheels. I must stress that this has only affected 4 cars to my knowledge: the majority of Challengers have the XW474 wheels fitted with 205/70R15 tyres without a problem." If in doubt check with the Challenger Owners Club. Always check the history of the vehicle to ensure that there have been no modifications to the running gear. Hubs/splines, spinners and nuts remain the same, unless noted otherwise, regardless of which wheel is fitted. We also stock wire wheel maintenance accessories such as our Cleaning Kit (Refills available), Cleaning Brush, Degreaser and Tyre Foam.
