BN1 to Chassis number 228026
BN2 from Chassis number 228047 to 233455
"On the BN2 model, from chassis 228047, the front brake drums were also widened from 1¾in to 2¼in." (Source : The Original Austin Healey Restorers Guide by Anders Ditlev Clausager ISBN 0-7603-1225-7)
The original prototype was fitted with "A90" style disc wheels but were replaced by wire wheels - all 100s were manufactured using wire wheels.
Always check the history of the vehicle to ensure that there have been no modifications to the running gear.
Hubs/splines, spinners and nuts remain the same, unless noted otherwise, regardless of which wheel is fitted.
We also stock wire wheel maintenance accessories such as our Cleaning Kit (Refills available), Cleaning Brush, Degreaser and Tyre Foam.
