Tube Tubeless

The chrome and silver-painted wheels have been tubeless since April 2005; and the stainless steel wheels have been tubeless since April 2007.

If you have the older, tubed wheels or are fitting tube-type tyres you will need 195/205 x 15 tubes and we recommend 15"/16" rim bands.
Notes The original wire wheels were Robergel bolt-on wire wheels (with Michelin X radial tyres) and were only offered as an option.

Some early Facel Vega had a type 42 hub, fitted with 4½" x 14" wire wheels (XW515 chrome or silver-painted).

With the introduction of the HK-500 in 1958, Borrani wire wheels became an option, and the drum brakes were replaced by disc brakes (previously only offered as an option on the FVS).
